Weird Ad Image
I got an ad that featured this disturbing image.
This looks like the photographer had a list of requirements like:
- Blonde model with good teeth
- Must see product packaging
- Must be brushing teeth
- Model must convey elegance
The photographer probably got hired off Fiverr or Upwork, and crapped out the image above. It’s inadvertently a genius image, but for WTF value.
The model is obviously trying really hard, a huge smile while brushing her flawless teeth, and holding up the toothpaste. Except who gets themselves all made up, with a necklace and earrings, to brush their teeth? Once you notice one thing wrong, you notice more and more wrongness. The model hasn’t put toothpaste on her toothbrush. The reflections in the model’s eyes indicate the photographer is using a shadowless ring light. She’s not even looking in the mirror. If she was looking in the mirror, why is she holding up the toothpaste like that? Doesn’t she know what toothpaste she’s using?
