Puzzling Ad Image

I was recently presented with a fairly puzzling ad image.

strange ad image

It doesn’t obviously contain the product being advertised.

The monocolor clothing, minority report interface and unusual… haircuts made me think this ad is set in the future. The blonde woman’s left eyebrow is unnaturally arched, as she gestures hypnotically at the floating interface. What are those models wearing? I suppose people in the future won’t necessarily wear metallic flowing gowns and robes, but surely they won’t wear purple velour jumpsuits and burnt ocher canvas tunics.

I can’t tell the purpose of the room this pair stands in. Looks vaguely like desks or some other generic office stuff, but it’s blurry. The illumination is odd, sunlight through hazy clouds casting shadows of windows’ cross piece on the generic office stuff.

I had to google for “what comes after the sme crisis” to find that SME crisis refers to “Small and medium sized enterprises”, and the putative “crisis” is currently going down in Germany.

This is an ad for an ad, “sponsored content” on Politico’s European focus website.
