2024’s corned beef and cabbage! A decent corned beef this year, slightly salty. The extra salt in the broth gave the vegetables delightful, extra-umami flavor overtones.

A Museum You Should Visit

Less a museum and more a visit to a time and place in the distant past,

if you’re in the vicinity of Thermopolis WY you should make great efforts to get to Legend Rock Petroglyph Site.

New Wine was apparently the literary magazine of Northwest Missouri State University’s English Department. By appearances, it’s a well produced zine. I can find no reference to it on the sum total of human knowledge, the World Wide Web. I may have the only extent copy of this literary effort.

I solved Wordle™ brand video game, puzzle number 986 without computerized help, but I made a silly 3rd guess. I wondered if the solution word was the only word available after my fourth guess.

I bought a Qotom Q20332G9-S10 fanless server, which I hope will eventually replace my older Dell PowerEdge R530, which was manufactured in August - December of 2014.

This started me on a journey of discovery that I could scarcely have imagined six months ago.
