I little bit mystery, a little bit pulp sci fi, a little bit modern cosmic horror, like John Dies at the End. I’m afraid to write too much, some of the atmosphere derives from the reader figuring things out.

I like the idea of “antimemetics”. There are definitely things, people and locations that seem harder to remember than others. I’m less enamored of an “antimemetic field”, but I’ll allow it in this book because it seems original.

This is a good read for the 2020s.
